New Camera!

I got myself a present... a new camera. It's a Olympus SP-550UZ. 7.1 mega pixel - definitely a step up from what I had. I've had the camera about 2 weeks now and I have been playing with it nearly every day. I've got pictures of birds, flowers, the moon and sunset, etc. I can feel a hobby brewing. I'm a beginner, but having fun... here are a couple I've taken so far. And, for being an all in one, the camera has a pretty good zoom on it. Now, I need a tripod.

Sunday Blues

Here we are again... it's Sunday night and I'm suffering from the "I don't wanna go to work tomorrow" blues. My job isn't too terribly horrible, I just don't like going. I think maybe I'm entering a midlife crisis or something. I've been there with the same employer for 18 years. I'm ready to quit working and just do what I want, when I want... it's too bad everything costs money and I gotta work in order to get that money. OK, I'm sorry I'll stop whining now...but hey, at least I finally put an update out here. P.S. I was on vacation... didn't go anywhere, but didn't spend time on the computer either. Time for bed...
