I can't believe it! Here we are at Sunday again...already! It's been a loud weekend for us. We had a couple extra kids and a few extra dogs too. I swear, I'm opening up a kennel and am going to start charging people for taking care of their pets. I saved a friend of ours over $75 because we took her two pomeranians over night. I don't know... I've been getting burned out at Meijer... maybe a dog kennel wouldn't be such a bad idea??? Hmmm.. On another note, I did spend a good part of Sunday afternoon creating some cards. I've gotten into Stamping and I like it. I can let my creative side come out and even though I'm new at it and am still struggling to find that creativity, I find that it's relaxing. I did 3 cards today. Aren't they pretty!?!? (By the way, they were all created with supplies from Stampin' Up! I went to my first Stampin' workshop last fall and I've been loving it. So much in fact that in February, I decided to sign up to be a demonstrator so I could get even better deals on stuff.)

Where'd the Weekend Go?

It used to be that when you didn't have enough things to keep you busy, the time would seem to go slow. And of course, if you were really busy, time would fly. I guess that doesn't really apply to weekends because while I didn't have a whole lot going on this weekend, it still went way too fast! I don't like that. On a good note, at least I wasn't as depressed on Sunday night as I have been for the last few months. My niece spent the night with us on Friday and we went to the drive-in to see "I now Pronounce you Chuck & Larry". It was a cute movie and there were some funny parts, but I wouldn't say it's one of Adam Sandler's best. Saturday...I don't even know what we did Saturday... I think I did some scrapbooking and that's pretty much it. Same for Sunday. My neighbor's dog had her puppies. They are Jack Russel/Pomeranian mix. Yup... our male pomeranian went Jack Russel on us! The pups are cute though. Four of them are a chocolate brown color and the 5th is white with some dark markings on her head - she's the only one at this point that really looks like a jack. That was pretty much it for my weekend. Here we are back at Monday. I hope you had a good weekend.

Ten Years ago I was married with 2 kids, ages 2 and 4. I was working full time at Meijer....not a whole lot different from the way things are now.

One year ago...working here full time at Meijer. My husband was on medical leave which made it that much worse to come to work each day.
