Feeling Great in 2008 - Week 3

Well... I can't believe it's already been a week. Time is flying. I've been incredibly busy at work. I have to say that this week didn't give me the result I wanted as far as the number on the scale, however, I can't complain because I'm still feelin' good. I gained 1 lb. and you know I think I just want to blame it on TOM. Yes, that's it. TOM comes around and can just mess things up. That week can just be so unpredictable and I will be the first to admit that I gave in to a couple cravings. But you know what... it's okay because I did not over indulge! Did you hear that? I didn't over-indulge. I ate just a little bit...enough to satisfy the craving and I was good to go. The best part of it, I didn't feel guilty about. I was so satisfied with the fact that I only ate a few squares of the candy bar. In the past, I would have most definitely eaten the whole thing! I've noticed that since I've focused more on eating healthier and eating when I'm hungry, that when I do eat... it takes a whole lot less to fill me. I've been shocking myself by not even being able to finish the single serving. In the past, I'd finish my first and then go back for more and sometimes more. It was as though I really did have a bottomless pit. Not anymore! So... I'm okay with the 1 lb. gain. It's cool.

Nothing In Particular

I don't think I have too many people stopping by here unless I make a good effort to check out other's blogs. Seems only right...right? Well, in case any one has been wondering? I've been focusing on some other things. I've found a great fondness for taking pictures and have finally found some motivation to get going on the weightloss too. So, I've been trying to move more. So..when I get home from work, and it's nice out, I try to find something to do outside...take a walk and take some photos...it hasn't left a lot of time to sit at the computer and blog. Unfortunately, blogging doesn't really burn a whole lot of calories. :) At night after dark, I could blog, but by then I'm tired. So.. I'm doing my best at keeping up with the memes I've joined, but I may find that I have to drop out of some. My weightloss is very important to me...and so is that sleep! :)

I hope everyone is doing well.

Feelin' Great in 2008 - Week 2

All I can say is YAY ME!!! again. I'm down another 3.5 pounds for a total of 7 pounds in these first two weeks. I'm only 3 pounds away from my first mini goal!! I'm so proud of myself and excited too.

I did make better food choices this week. I haven't had french fries in two weeks! Pretty good for me. I have been eating when my body tells me it's hungry (stomach growls). One of my downfalls is soda pop so I still have that, but it is in moderation. I'm also parking a little further away from the doors at work. That is about the only exercise I get right now.

I'll have to write more later... I'm really tired right now.
